Vivian Hsu is a graduate of Smith College and Suffolk University School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, she was a Division Counsel with Motorola, Inc., providing legal advice and training to managers and human resource professionals. Her earlier experience also includes positions with the WGBH Educational Foundation.
Committed to community and professional involvement, Vivian has and continues to serve in leadership roles with several organizations, as a member of the Leadership Advisory Council of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, having served as Co-Chair, as an Executive Committee member of the Board of Directors and as Past President of the NAPABA Law Foundation, as a member of the Personnel Board for the Town of Needham and on the Advisory Board of the Community Dispute Settlement Center. Vivian has been a facilitator in the Boston City-Wide Dialogues Project on Racial and Ethnic Diversity. |

Supporting the advancement of women leaders, Vivian is an active member of the Boston Club, has served as President of the Women’s Business Network and as a board member of the Asian Women’s Connection. She has provided time to the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence for the Silk Road fundraiser and served as Co-Chair of ATASK’s EmPower Business Women’s Breakfast.
She is a member of the faculty for the Certified Discrimination Prevention Training Program of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination on the areas of discrimination, diversity, disability accommodation, harassment, and internal investigations. Vivian has served on the American Arbitration Association panel of mediators for complaints before the MCAD and as a facilitator and team leader for the Summit on Leading Diversity, a national diversity conference. In addition, she has served as Education Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association and as a Committee Leader of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Boston Bar Association.
A recognized speaker and highly regarded trainer and facilitator, Vivian has conducted training sessions on a wide variety of employment law topics for industry associations, trade groups and bar associations. She is a frequent lecturer for programs and courses on issues of employment law.
